Who’s behind StudioOps
An independent UK shop, built alongside a real studio.
StudioOps is built by Gareth and Ekuba Williams, a husband-and-wife team in Swindon. Ekuba runs Chayil Couture, a bridal alterations and dressmaking studio — the workflow you’re looking at on this page started life as the software she actually needed to run her own business.
Building software for the studio Ekuba runs every day means StudioOps isn’t designed by committee at a software company that’s never taken a customer enquiry on WhatsApp at 8pm. Every feature is tested at Chayil Couture first — if it doesn’t save admin effort there, it doesn’t make it into StudioOps.
We’re small and independent on purpose. No outside investors, no growth-at-any-cost playbook, no surprise per-user fees creeping in at year two. The price you sign up for today is the price you stay on for as long as you’re a small studio. We grow when our studios grow, and we make decisions on that timescale rather than a quarterly one.
