What happens after your 30 days

The trial is 30 days, no card up front. Here’s the timeline so there are no surprises.

  1. Day 25

    We email you a reminder that the trial ends in 5 days, with a link to add a card if you want to keep going.

  2. Day 31

    If you’ve added a card, you’re on the £7.99/month plan and we start billing. If you haven’t, your account simply pauses — no surprise bill.

  3. Up to day 121

    We keep your data safe for 90 days while you decide. Export your customers, bookings, quotes and invoices as CSVs from Settings whenever you like.

Cancel any time before day 31 and we don’t bill you. Cancel after day 31 from Settings → Billing → Cancel; no questions, no retention call.

What happens to my data if StudioOps goes away?
CSV export per table, available any time, at no fee. Your Square account stays yours regardless. Bank transfer payments go straight from your customer’s bank to yours — there’s never a StudioOps middleman to remove.
Who supports me when something breaks?
StudioOps support is UK-based. Search the help centre at studioops.uk/help for setup, bookings, and payments guidance; raise a ticket from there if you need a human. We aim to reply the same working day for urgent queries — account access, billing, booking, and payment issues.
How do I get paid, and is it safe?
Per invoice you choose bank transfer or card via Square. Bank transfer goes directly from your customer’s bank to yours — StudioOps never touches the money and takes no cut. Card via Square uses Square’s hosted payment page; card data never touches StudioOps and Square’s own standard processing fee applies on card payments only (we don’t add to it). PCI DSS SAQ A scope.
Can I still work if the system is down?
Your public booking page is the only customer-facing surface. Everything else is studio-internal and can fall back to manual until service is restored. A status page is on the way.
