About StudioOps

What is StudioOps?

Workflow software that gives your studio its working day back. Enquiries, quotes, invoices, appointments, and payments all in one place — so the time that used to go on admin goes back into the work, and your customers feel looked after at every step. Built first with a real bridal alterations studio.

Who is StudioOps for?

Solo and small home studio owners — bridal alterations and dressmaking studios at launch, with the master brand staying broad enough for adjacent home-studio verticals over time (beauty rooms, nail/lash, massage studios, tutors, makers). Typically one to five people, often home-based, with a fitting-, treatment-, or appointment-heavy customer journey.

For your customers

Do my customers need to sign up?

No. Customers book from a public link, then get a private follow-up space — no account, no password. Studio owners have a sign-in for the dashboard.

How do customers email my studio?

Every studio gets a private email address the moment it signs up: your-slug@studioops.uk. No setup, no DNS, no inbox to manage — anything sent there lands in your StudioOps enquiries with an AI-suggested reply ready to send. Each studio's inbox is private to that studio; no other studio can see yours.

Privacy, data, and security

Is my data safe?

Your studio's data is isolated from every other studio at the database level. Every table containing your data is locked behind row-level security policies so other studios cannot read it. AI features run server-side — your customer data is never sent to the browser.

How safe are customer payments?

Square handles all card data — card numbers never touch StudioOps. We keep only the last four digits and the card brand on a paid invoice. PCI DSS SAQ A scope, the lowest-risk merchant category.

What happens to my data if StudioOps goes away?

CSV export per table, available any time, at no fee. Your Square account stays yours regardless — we don't sit between you and your customer payments.

Pricing

How much does it cost?

GBP 7.99 a month, VAT included, for everyone. Every feature included; no tiers, no add-ons, no commission. 30-day free trial, no card up front. Monthly billing, cancel any time. Square transaction fees are paid by you directly to Square; StudioOps does not add to or skim them.

Integrations

Does StudioOps integrate with my calendar?

Yes. Confirmed appointments push to Google Calendar so your existing diary stays accurate. Other calendar providers may follow once there's a clear request.

Importing your data

Can I import my customers from a spreadsheet?

Bulk CSV import is on the roadmap. For now, customers are added one at a time from Customers → Add a customer in the dashboard — typically about a minute per record. Step-by-step instructions are in the help centre.

Support

How do I get help if I get stuck?

StudioOps support is UK-based. Search the help centre at studioops.uk/help for guides covering setup, bookings, and payments; raise a ticket from there if you need a human. We aim to reply the same working day for urgent queries — account access, billing, booking, and payment issues.

How do I get in touch?

Two addresses depending on what you need:

  • help@studioops.uk — for support requests once you're using StudioOps. Goes into the ticket system so nothing gets lost. Best for "how do I do X?" / "this isn't working" / "I'm stuck with a setup step" questions.
  • hello@studioops.uk — for pre-trial enquiries, sales questions, press / partnerships, anything that isn't a support ticket. Goes directly to Gareth.

For product questions the help centre at studioops.uk/help is usually fastest — search the guides or raise a ticket from there.
